August 17th, 2009UPDATE: The campaign is actually titled “Dark Carnival” it seems. Left the rest of the post as is:
GameTrailers revealed some video about Left 4 Dead 2′s “Fairgrounds” campaign and the pending DLC for Left 4 Dead, Crash Course. In Left 4 Dead 2, there’s a cool amusement park scene, and an eerie carousel, but I’m hopeful for a working rollercoaster. 
Crash Course opens with a helicopter crash, as it bridges the gap between No Mercy and Death Toll, and yes, confirms there are only two maps. Boo hoo, but still fun!
100 Witches Video from Left 4 Dead (plus a How To!)
August 15th, 2009You’ve got to see this incredibly scary, hilarious Left 4 Dead video of the Survivors taking on 100 Witches. There’s also an amazing sequence where they all get lit on fire and startled by a pipebomb. A must see.

August 12th, 2009For those having trouble taking out Left 4 Dead’s witches, check out this witch killing guide. Lots of useful tips including:
- After startling a witch, run off an edge so that you “hang” the witch will target you but do no damage. It’s an easy kill after that, but your teammates will still have to pick you up and you’ll take 10-20 “hanging” damage.
- If the witch is on a raised area along with your team, line it up so that there is a “fall spot” between you and the witch. Like the catwalks on early Blood Harvest 2 or the roof on No Mercy 3, she will fall off and give you time to make some distance.

It’s a great way to take down red/bleeding out Survivors, but is VERY controversial because it’s a cheap glitch. Here’s how to do it and a video inside:
