Ghost slapping in Left 4 Dead is when you hit a Survivor with a spawning Infected without the Survivors having a chance to stop you. It’s a great way to take down red/bleeding out Survivors, but is VERY controversial because it’s a cheap glitch. Here’s how to do it and a video inside:
In Versus mode, when at the Special Infected spawn, run away until you’re asked to move closer to the Survivors. Now, press the LEFT TRIGGER (SLAP) and the X button (SPAWN) at the same time. You should spawn close to the survivors, slapping them and doing damage. This does not work all the time, but when it does, it’s lethal.
Naturally, hunters are best used for this as they can slap for 6 damage, and can get out of there after spawning.
